Support for volunteering
We are here to help you to find a volunteering role that matches your interests, skills, and the time you have available. Our Volunteer Centre is normally open Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays 10am - 1pm, but we recommend that you let us know your are planning to visit us - so that we can ensure someone is available to help you.
If you have internet access, take a look at the national volunteering website, http://www.do-it.org.uk. You can register your interest here, and review volunteering opportunities.
Support for voluntary groups
We offer advice and support tailored to your needs.
Fund raising, registration of charities, business planning, finding training courses, recruiting
volunteers, publicising your activities.
We organise regular network events, host online bulletin boards, and produce a monthly newsletter, Adur Monthly Press. We will during 2008 have set up an online index of local organisations, and an events calendar.
Adur Voluntary Action co-ordinates closely with the other CVSs and county-wide charities to benefit Adur. We also collaborate with the local authorities and health services, and serve on many joint committees and liaison bodies.STOP PRESS
